Scooby von Schapen is a striking looking 9 month old sable German Shepherd. This young gentleman with his alert expression and his keen, observing eyes taking in the world around him, says: “I’m ready for anything! Let’s explore!”  And then he will happily lean against you for pets and ear-scratching, followed up with a few little kisses as your reward. Scooby knows his sit command and he takes those delicious and well-earned treats very gently. The prospect of a walk gets his tail wagging, as he knows it’s the opportunity for exploration and discoveries. He’s pleased to see his fellow dogs along for the walk, meeting his canine companions well. He enters play groups off-leash with a calm and comfortable demeanor, and does well with the other dogs present -- a terrific greeter and mingler. He does not even mind sharing a water bowl with a new friend. Though quite busy with the exploring and the mingling, he still finds the time to visit the humans in the yard for his well-deserved praise and pets. (He's a no for kitties.) Scooby arrived at Westside with his sister Shiloh, and they can be adopted  either singly or together by someone who needs not just one, but a pair of extraordinary dogs.
